PHASE 2 :: GRAYSCALE WALKTHROUGH
Step A :: GRAYSCALE MODEL
- Concepting . Color Keys . Blockin
- Low Poly Modeling Tips
- NavMesh
- Grayscale asset 3d Blockin in Maya based on the design board
- Maya Arnold rendered samples *no UV or texture needed / grayscale lighting
- Review call with VLH, Maxx, & Jon
Once approved :
- Select all grayscale assets in scene (not including navmesh) > Combine asset as one piece of geometry (do this for fast export and setup in blender) > Rename asset > Assign one material/shader to the asset and one material/shader to the navmesh. Select both the asset and navmesh > export as FBX
Step B :: GRAYSCALE PLAYABLE
Blender : import FBX to Blender. Next prep the blockin to export into Babylon Engine - test what its like to be inside the world with leads and internal team. Setup a meeting is setup with external clients if applicable.
