The skybox or 360 dome, is what you see in the distance while you’re in a Space. You can choose from a selection of preset skyboxes for a world or upload your own.

AI Generated Skyboxes

You can create beautiful AI generated skyboxes to transform the look of your world with a unique image.

1. As a host, launch your Space and open the settings menu (or press N)
2. Type a prompt for what you’d like your skybox to look like
3. Choose a style from the dropdown
4. Click Generate
   1. Once finished it will appear and you can select it any time from the “Choose Skybox” drop down.

<aside> 👉 Available on Computers only for now. Higher end device recommended. This can take up to a minute and you may experience a few freezes while it’s processing.

Changing the default Skybox

As a host, launch your Space and open the settings menu (or press N) and choose an option from the drop down list. This will immediately change the Skybox for everyone.

Adding a custom skybox

You can also upload your own skybox, for now it must be a .ENV file. If you can’t find these file types, you can create one from an HDR or an equirectangular JPG. Which are both easy formats to find online.

1. As a host, launch your Space and open the settings menu (or press N) and click the upload button to the left of the dropdown
2. After upload it will now be selectable from the dropdown list by any host of your space
